What was great?
Large CC site with usual high standard of facilities. Many pitches (the ones on grass) were out of use due to waterlogged. Beefeater Restaurant/pub next door. The white water canoe centre adjacent for water sport lovers. Huge retail park over the Tees Barrage bridge within walking distance. Close to seaside towns of Saltburn, Marske, Whitby and Scarborough.

Even better if....
Not many hardstandings for motorhomes, some motorhomes were pitched on tarmac roadway.

What was great?
You could be anywhere once pitched up on this site, especially if you take advantage of the service pitches. Stroll along the River Tees and the world class White Water facility. Great shopping at nearby Teesside Park. Family friendly, great facilities and the Talpore Beefeater Pub and restaurant on the door step serves great food.

Even better if....
As a family there is a great games room facility and special occasions such as Halloween are catered for with fantastic on-site wardens organising a memorable spooky Halloween night.
