Question: westfalia hitch

being relatively new to caravan's, we're only on our 2nd one, I was surprised by the hitch that was on our latest caravan, it was a German made westfalia anti-sway hitch, which looked more like a bear trap than a tow hitch, which was operated by a kind of snap-lock ,lever system and to be honest it did do what it was supposed to but for ease of use I have since changed it for a more modern, easier to use alko hitch.

I was just wondering if any other members have had experience or indeed still use this type of hitch, if I can find some where to post it i'll pop a picture of it somewhere in the gallery.

a new game for the membership...hunt 'tintenters hitch picture', lol
