Do you know if I can get the rollers re-coated. The grit and resin layer has worn out. Do I need to replace the mountings?

We had the same issue. The rollers tend to wear out due to the fact they are made of grit and resin which isnt at all hardy and both the rollers and mountings would have to be replaced.
I contacted Reich and they said that there is no provision for re-coating of the rollers. Their solution was to replace them with the newer alloy version, which we did. They cost us £75 per roller. That quite a lot for 4 of them isn't it??!!!

I bought a new set which are an aluminium grooved type to replace the grit Reich type from leisureshopdirect (Product Ref: 233788)

They were straightforward to change.

I also used to find that when I parked my caravan on a slope the Reich grit rollers used to slip and this doesn't happen at all with these aluminium ones. Much better.

Look at www.regrit-it.com. They do a regritting kit for £25.99 delivered to your door. The rollers can be re-coated in -situ but it is perhaps easier if you have them removed.
I used this kit to re-coat some Reich rollers and the finish was very professional looking and there was plenty of coating to amply cover the rollers. It was a very easy process to carry out.
I cannot comment on how long the coating would last but it appeared to literally be as good as new. I was selling the mover hence I have no knowledge how long everything would last. Having said that I sold the mover over 8 months ago and the customer never came back to complain so presumably everything is fine.
It is certainly a much cheaper option (and less hassle) than replacing the complete rollers
