I think I have found and repaired the cause of the damp, but a large area of the floor in my bailey caravan is damaged. How do i repair a floor constructed of polystyrene sandwiched between thin plywood?

i have recently repaired a section of our caravan floor, which was suffering from de-lamination,
feel quite proud of myself too as i'm no d.i.y'er

the job really was simplicity itself, i just followed the instructions supplied with the kit

1/ take up exsisting floor covering ( tatty old carpet in our case)

2/ mark out a grid over the affected area

3/ using an 8mm drill bit, drill a series of hole's, app' 1/4" deep, at 6" to 8" intervals apart

4/ inject your de-lamination chemical into these holes

5/ plug the holes ( using the dowels provided in the de-lam' kit)

6/ leave for 48hrs to cure

7/ trim off any excess compound, a quick rub down , re-fit floor covering of your choice

job done.

the de-lam kit i bought, i got off e-bay, but was actually from caravan solutions of clowne and cost £22.95 inc p&p and do's exactly what it says on the tin

Purchase a de-lamination kit. Most caravan shops or eBay. Cost around £30 for 2 meter repair.
