I recently bought an Autosleeper Stratford, fitted with a Waeco CR80 fridge. It works fine as long as the camper is connected to the mains, but when there is no mains supply it is a dead loss. This Easter weekend we went to a Rally with the Motor Caravan Section , intending to have a four day break. We had to come home after one night because the fridge had defrosted, meaning we had to throw out two frozen meals from the freezer section. We have read and re-read the instruction book, and just cannot see what, if anything, we are doing wrong. Has anyone else had any problems with one of this model ?

Thanks Dave. The "problem" has been solved by our local Caravan Hospital, who pointed out a switch located across the aisle from the fridge, which had not been noticed by my wife, me or a friend who knows "everything" about motorhomes.
