Just wondering.......
whats the best piece of equipment you take with you camping that isn't normal camping equipment (so not sleeping bag, tent etc)?
I think mine is possibly a cork screw!

Might be good to get a list going and make all our camping lives more comfortable!!

For me its the digital camera and a radio.
Love capturing as much as possible on the camera and then looking back.
Also I really enjoy the radio when away. Nice change from the tv......makes you use your imagination a little more.

My cameras never far away either, my OH says I drive her mad with the camera clicking away at every opportunity, lol Posted by peter goodison on 05 May 2013

Hi Jeff,
my best bit of kit would have to be a good ,old fashioned , tin opener, you know the butterfly winder type, tin opener on one end, bottle opener ( for my beer ) on the other and an integrated cork screw ( for the OH's wine), funny enough it's the one piece of kit I have never forgotten to pack even in our wobbly tent day's

after that it would have to be my 'boyz bitz' pocket multi-tool, which has come in very useful more than once

Yes that tops my cork screw as it does beer, wine and tins in one! Posted by Jeff Briggs on 05 May 2013

My digital camera which helps us relive any particular holiday whenever we want from the comfort of of our settee.

I also write a journal in a small notebook every day we are away. I used to type it up when we got home but now I keep a small laptop in the campervan and type it up every couple of days.

At the Old Rectory we'd recommend a kettle.. very important for cups of tea and coffee! Or a puncture repair kit, it would be sods law that you'd snag your airbed and have an uncomfortable nights sleep!
Happy holidays

WET WIPES! The eco-friendly ones of course. They cover a multitude of sins...
