I not a gambling man but when we started out camping ,about 10 yrs ago now, I bought a tent outfit from asda, just a basic ,non-descript 4 man pop up type tent, with 2 sleeping bags, 2 travel pillows and a torch all in their own dedicated hold all, total cost at the time was £49.99.
we had a good few outings with it ,in fact we still have the tent, although it hasn't been used for camping for a number of years now, it's a summer play den for the gran-kids.
the sleeping bags are still in regular use as we use them as quilts for our caravan, ditto the torch ,still used regularly when walking the dog on our tin tent trips, the torch still has it's original bulb and has only had 2 sets of batteries in 10 yrs
so you might be surprised just how long your Lidl tent lasts, use it and enjoy it, if it only lasts you a season then it was money well spent
