Hi

We a re currently at Lochranza Campsite Isle Of Arran in our motorhome, was a bit wary of going on ferry as its my first time driving it on, Julie usually drives when we go abroad, ie Greece in a hire car weve been on lots of ferries but a first for me in van, LOL it was a doddle,it5s a beautiful island what we've seen so far,

We havent got a TV signal (wished Id won the fab Digital Antenna System on Campsite Chatters Facebook Competition) Damn, never mind we have WiFi so can tune in to TV with that, wont go on to much as I will do a review when we get home,

We've seen Deer, sea lions and sea otters + lots of birds, fab land/seascapes, and weve not looked yet lol brought all my photography stuff except forgot my tripod so no long exposures/night shots unless I just buy a cheapo tripod, 1 shot I do want is of a Golden Eagle that would be fab got my Cannon 500mm prime lens so in with a chance if I see one,

Anyways, really looking forward to the rest island, if anyone knows any must sees/do's whilst we are please let us know as soon as possible then we can fit them in

Bye For Now

Sounds a great place, what's the weather like at the moment? Plus if you get stuck there are the facilities upto it? Will have a look at it as somewhere to go in future.

Dave,

What's Arran like compared to the other Scottish islands, do you know? I know it's a while since your visit but we are planning a truip to one of the Isles. Mull is on the cards. Was just wondering what Arran was like. Harris looks beautiful but a long way!

How much was the ferry, out of interest?

Thanks
