Started my caving in the peak district. Castleton area, Stoney Middleton. Lathkill all good for beginners + Campsites around all areas. Try Over Haddon Farm above Lathkill Dale. Seriously suggest that wherever you go you contact a local club. They have the knowledge and would prefer not to have to pull you out. Ted

North Yorkshire is a great caving area for all abilities. The area around the Three Peaks has numerous great caving spots. great area to camp in too!

If you want to find campsites in and around the Three Peaks region of Yorkshire and the Pennies for mountain walking as well as caving, have a look at our Mountain Camping specialism, accessible from our home page :)
