Fitting everything in my small car is tough. What are your top items to pack when camping with kids?

My mum and dad bought the boys a collapsible swing ball set - that has been a life-saver. Any more?

My answer to EVERY question about keeping children (and adults!) occupied, invariably involves playdough... great for 'Pictionary' type games, for role play, for 'making tea' whilst the actual process of adults making tea is going on...and it takes up almost no space at all.

Love the stuff!

Swing ball set, every time! Plus the dog can't chew the ball!

Hi Alicia
For me I never forget the badminton set or the Boule set. Both small items that kids love for hours.
For a cold or rainy day though, Connect 4 is always a hit for children of all ages
