Going camping near Corfe castle with the camping and caravan club and would like to be flexible with booking the site. Would you advise us to book ahead and "wing" it a bit

Thanks

Hi Marion,

Do you mean that you have a particular site in mind or are you thinking of staying around Corfe Castle - there are loads of sites to choose from within a few miles of Corfe.

I like Burnbake Campsite and it is quite a permissive site without specific pitches, so the chances are you could be a bit more laid back about booking there.

I haven't stayed at the CCC site at Corfe but my experience with CCC is that booking ahead is a good idea as they get pretty booked up and the pitches are more laid out and fixed.

Hi Claire
thank you so much for your reply. Particularly because my question did not make sense!! Yes it was the query about booking in advance or not really and you have answered my question. We are members of the CCC so do look at their sites but lovely to know about the other site you recommend.
Many thanks
Marion
