Not a very technical question but..... does anybody have an idea for getting clothes to stay on hangers and hangers to stay on the clothes rail. Not really important in the grand scheme of things but it would be nice to arrive at a campsite and not have to rehang everything!!!!! Thanks

hi Julie
like Andy we peg our shirts etc to the hanger, and to keep the hangers on the rail I use a length of pipe insulation, hanger on rail insulation over the hanger, works for us

Fix an Expanding Net Curtain Wire just above the rail. It stops the hangers bouncing off. To keep the clothes on the hanger ensure top button/zips are fastened.
Hope this helps.

Ray

Hi Julie,
Not a very technical answer here either im afraid.
I use normal clip style clothes pegs to keep my shirt and jacket on a hanger. I also hang the hangers in alternate direction, I.e. one over the rail from the front, next one over the rail from the back. Don't know why it works but it generally does!

We obtained some cheap flock covered hangers fro TK max but a lot of other stores keep them.
When put over rail bend the hooks round to stop them coming off rail and the flock stops clothes siding off
