Question: Do small touches make a difference?

Being a small site we aim to make the stay memorable so add in some unique features. For example our book exchange, welly loan, and honesty box which allows guests to buy our home grown produce. Not to mention our family dogs who love to pay everyone a visit.

We want to know if these small things make a difference to your stay AND any suggestions for new helpful features.

Don't under sell the touches you are doing. This is the thing that most people like in a site and you should be pleased with yourself. Well done

Hi, it sounds like you're trying to add a personal touch and some good old hospitality.
This is so refreshing to see and most welcome.
For me a bike and boot wash area also goes down well too.

To feel a family opens up their land and environment as it sounds you do rather than just "running" a site is a fantastic situation

Hi Andy,

I think your little personal touches make for a great campsite. I once stayed at a campsite in Scotland and they had bagpipe music playing in the toilets/washroom, and a supply of CD music (bagpipes of course), which you could borrow. I love little touches like that and I think you are definitely doing the right thing. I'll have to see where your site is with a view to a future visit.

Regards
Ray
