we like newgale tents and campers,no dog and spotless toilets and showers.Just over the road is a 3 mile long sandy beach nice and quite site.oh and a pub 5mins from the site that does good food. Posted by wendy glover on 25 Jun 2013
I think all the Caravan Club Sites and C&C Club sites are fantastic. They are the best in Europe and that is why many Dutch are members. I do find the signs and rules a bit over bearing. Walden's and fellow campers for the most part very friendly. My favourite is Daleacres Hythe. It is by the Hythe Cannel and Port Lymme Surfari Park. You can gear lions from your pitch.
My most favourite is in Germany difficult to get on so its a secret.

well i love the Monkey tree in Cornwall, near Newquay highly recommend it dog friendly to boot and you have Hendra just up the road from Monkey tree very good site Posted by Robert Brown on 09 Sep 2013
Without doubt, Fornella - Lake Garda. Long way and not the cheapest but worth the haul. Been 3 times up to date. In the UK our fave is hartsholme park lincoln Posted by Simon Tweedale on 12 Sep 2013

Only been to 2 as new to camping..but they cant get any better than the Old Oaks in Somerset..beautiful site and beautiful surrounding..facillitys are 5 star..friendly staff..and lovely big pitches..only one gripe..no electric hook up grass pitches so had to pitch on rather chunky hard standing pitch..not good for tent or your feet..lol..but would still go back,

hi again Darren ,
I have to say for us it would have to be HENDRE MYNACH, at Barmouth, North Wales,

the site caters foe mobile homes, touring caravans and tents, has large, hard standing and grass pitches, a well stocked site shop, clean modern toilet blocks, is dog friendly, kids are catered for too with a fenced off , play area with safety matting round the equipment,.

literally just across the road from the site is the sea and miles of sandy beaches and Barmouth itself is just a short walk away along the prom'.

we recently spent 5 days there and apart from one outing to portmeirion ,the car never left the site as everything you need, i.e shops, restaurants , pub's etc really are all with-in easy walking distance.

we'll definitely be going again sooner rather than later hopefully.

but that said, the REEDHAM FERRY and ARCHERS site at Reedham ,Norfolk runs it a close second but for different reasons

Love Tyn-Yr-Onnen in North Wales. Working Welsh hill farm; stunning scenery; really friendly folk. Good facilities but in a really wild location. Tonnes of space. The dogs loved it.
