I have just purchased replacement rollers for my Reich Move Control Comfort and I need installation details. I have seen online some installation details but it doesn't seem to apply to my model due to having different bolts (2 U bolts on mine and also a balancing bar between the motors which is not mentioned). Grateful if anyone could advise. Thank you.

You do not have to remove the mover from the van to replace the rollers.

Just to expand a little on Garry's reply, I have just changed the rollers on my Reich mover (upgraded from grit-less gritted to shiny aluminium). You'll need to get yourself under your unit far enough to be able to look at the inboard end of the drive units. the drive unit is held in place by three bolts with self-locking nuts. Undo the nuts and withdraw the bolts (you can remove two completely, the other is blocked in and cannot be taken out), then slide the unit towards the centre of the caravan (a little gentle persuasion may be needed). As you do this, either the end of the roller will drop free of the driving dog on the drive unit, or the roller will come away, attached to the unit - in which case some WD40 and a little leverage may be required to separate the two. Once the drive unit is clear and if the roller has remained in place, simply slide it out of its housing. Clean everything up, slide the new roller in (I gave the bearing surfaces a touch of grease), then replace the drive unit (the 'captive' bolt helps with relocation). Use new self-locking nuts on the bolts to be on the safe side (of course). Check the clearance between the new roller and your tyres and adjust if necessary (I was told) but as the new roller outside diameter was the same as the gritted version, I was able to leave mine alone. Time taken? - about 20 minutes for the first and 15 for the second. Easy peasy!
