For years now I have been anti awning all together being a big fan of Caravan Store canopy. I just love the quick convenience.

I have just retired and now intend to have 3 month European trips in my van. We will be taking our 35kg Victorian Bulldog Bertie. I have reluctantly agreed to get a awning as we will be parked up for a month in some places so will need the extra space and Bertie will be sleeping in the awning in his cage.

After much research it is down to the Kampa 390 Air and Isabella Magnum. I would welcome some feed back from people who have experience of these awnings. Thanks

Hi Mike,
I don't know anything about the Isabella but I can comment on the Kampa 390.
I bought this to replace a full awning. It has better all round headroom than other awnings of this type, due to its pole arrangement. It (so far!) seems watertight and has plenty of flexibility with regards door opening etc. Most importantly to me, I can easily erect it on my own. Takes roughly 20 mins to put up and peg down, and probably 30 mins to take down, fold up and stow.
For me it fits the bill perfectly and at a price that suits.
Hope this helps!
