Paid a visit to the caravan show in Birmingham yesterday with my wife and friends and was very surprised at the numbers of people who are in the caravan and camper vans. The a site is massive, as are the car parks. It was nearly a ten minute walk from the car to the halls. Which was a bit of a pain on the return trip because we couldn't remember which car park we were on (old age). All in all it was quite a pleasant day out, and I came away without spending a fortune.
It's not somewhere I would go again. It was a bit too crowded for me, but it is a great place to check out all the latest caravans, camper vans and equipment all under one roof.

What are your thoughts?

Me and the wife went on the Sat, but as you said there was a lot of people there, only to be expected though, but i did get a new cover for the van an a lot cheaper, but what found there when you have been in a few of the vans, they basilcally look all much of a muchness if you you know what i mean, yes they were very nice, and i got a bit close to getting a new one for £13550 now thats a good price but the wife pulled me away, saying we have a nice one but anyway we had a nice time there :)

Hi Robert, your wife sounds very much like mine. She also said we already have a very nice van, so why change.
Must agree with you on the point that all the caravans start to look the same after a while. At least I managed to check out the new bradcot modus awning, I fancy, while there.
The best bit for me was the curry we had in a little village near the NEC, before we headed back home. 😋

Hi, if you want less people next time go on a Tuesday as we did and it was pleasant with not too many people.
