We have always visited North Devon and Cornwall and have decided to visit the South Devon coast for the first time this easter. Does anybody have any recommendations of where to visit? We have a touring caravan. Thanks

I don't think you can fault the Slapton Sands site owned by Camping & Caravan Club. It is a level site with the most glorious sea views from your van or tent and 5 minutes walk to the beach. Lovely position for visiting Dartmouth, Totnes, Torbay and Kingsbridge. We just can't stop going back whenever we need to relax it is always top of our list. There is a basic playground for kids but no other facilities like a pool etc, but with the sea and countryside on your doorstep I can't see you would want them. Hope you enoy south Devon it truly is a wonderful area but plan your route carefully as you don't want to go down narrow lanes if towing or in a large Motorhome.
