Hi Everyone, I'm thinking of having a change from my seasonal pitch up the Yorkshire Dales.
Whilst I love the Dales I think I'm in need of pastures new.
Do any of you worldly caravanners know of anywhere worth a look at, within a two hour drive from Oldham in Lancashire. North, South, East or West, anywhere that is pretty with nice walks and a few pubs nearby. The site must be dog friendly for our lovely Jessy and somewhere we can leave the awning up..

Regards

There is a lovely site in North Wales called Penisa'r Mynydd just off of the A55 - lots of lovely walks in the area and the site is dog friendly. The shower block is immaculate and the site is well kept. It would be an easy run for you from Oldham I think.

Thanks Belinda, I'll put it on my view list for when the season ends.
We went to view a site near Skipton last Saturday, Called Gallaber, a lovely site but didn't have winter storage.

Ray

Penisa'r Mynydd is open from 1st April until 31st October for seasonals but the site is open from 1st March til 15th January and you can pay nightly rates outside of the seasonal time, and they do winter storage, I only know because we went to see it Posted by Belinda Hodgetts on 23 Sep 2014

How about tamworth area, gives you a great breadth of places to go and things to do.
