Can this be right?

I have drained water, emptied fridge and cleaned the 'van for the winter etc but was advised the other day to leave a set mouse trap out. Are mice really a threat? Don't want my wiring chewed.

I have heard the same and that you should put the plugs in sinks etc. to stop them. I have more trouble (so far) with them invading the house! Still trapping ones that invaded while I was away in September! A few years ago I brought new caravan cushions into the house for winter and they got those too:(

Ah, luckily we don't seem to have problems with mice in the house...yet. I hadn't thought of bringing in the cushions...might have to do that. Or maybe I could talk the missus into just letting me park the entire 'van inside?! Putting plus in sounds like a plan. Posted by Rob Ackroyd on 01 Dec 2014

I don't know about issues in your motorhome... we have issues every year with mice and our tents. We've kept them in sheds, in the garage, even in the house. But there's something about the material that the little blighters seem to love.

So, if we had a motorhome and brought in our cushions etc, the likelihood is that they'd just get eaten in doors too :(
