Question: Reducing condensation

Hi all,

We've recently aquired a preloved motorhome and, full of pride, we want to make sure that it stays looking good...our past experience suggests that keeping on top of condensation is going to be a key feature of managing possible mould...

So, we have bought the usual moisture trap dehumidifiers and have also built in a routine of lifting the cushions off surfaces whenever we leave the van for a while...

Any other suggestions?

Hi Sue
I have a caravan and my suggestion would be to leave 3 or 4 bowls of table salt throughout your unit during the winter months.
It's simple, cheap and effective!
You'll be surprised how much moisture they attract! Feel the weight of them in spring!

Hi Sue,

Throwing open the windows of your van on a sunny (even if cold) day can make the world of difference.
