Going to set off for sunny devon in a few weeks but when we return we aew looking to change our car. We would definitely like an estate. And overall its between an Audi A6 or the BMW 5. The Audi is the front wheel drive so is that better for towing on motorways etc. We go away a lot in Winter as well......is front wheel drive ok on wet grass? We really aren't sure whats best so any advice would be great.

As the weight of the outfit is at the back it makes the car sit up and beg so to speak, front wheel drive on the grass tends to spin the wheels if it is raining and also on an incline, you get better traction from rear wheel drive when towing.
