I have a truma ultraheat S3002 electric/gas caravan heater fitted with trumavent Model TEB2 12v circulating fan system. When switching on (non A) at control on front of fire, fan may start and at other times requires a tap in back of plastic casing holding rear motor bushing. I have checked all plug in connectors and found no fault. Is it possible that the motor bushing is worn and requires lubrication? Can I remove the black plastic cover at rear of assy to do so?

If the motor will not start on occasions it may be due to a dust build up on the fan itself. Cleaning the fan may cure the problem.
