Morrone is classed as a fair sized Corbett at 333m and makes a fantastic hill walking circuit with its 360 degree views of the Cairngorm peaks surrounding it. Many folk walking Morrone start at the village of Braemar which is a famous centre for hillwalking in the Cairngorms, giving access as it does to 4 of the 5 highest mountains in the UK. The Morrone ascent provides more moderate walking with outstanding views and varied terrain: some of the best walking in Scotland.
