Cheshire show is a weekend countryside extravaganza, celebrating all there is to celebrate about traditional and modern aspects of country living.

They love their competitions at Cheshire county show: cheese and wine competitions, cattle competitions, pygmy goats, shire horses, pigs, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, poultry competitions - you name it, there's a competition for it. Which means that there's never a dull moment, making this one of the best family days out in Cheshire.

Shopping is great at the show too, with over 700 trade stalls selling every imaginable facet of country life. There's a food hall and a farmers market to keep the foodies happy, a traditional fun-fair to keep the kids smiling and, if you need to get away from the hustle and bustle, you can head for the 'Village Green' where you can enjoy musical performances over a cream tea or a glass of wine.
