Displaying the best of Hertfordshire with lashings of pride and enthusiasm, the Hertfordshire Show is one of the best things to do in Hertfordshire if you want to get a flavour and insight into this traditional farming region of the UK.

The Herts County Show attracts over 35,000 visitors each year to its extravanganza of farming animals - from the huge to the tiny - and the educational demonstrations mean that you will leave knowing something that you didn't know before you arrived about the daily life of the farming community, both now and in the past.

Show jumping, falconry displays, best of breed horse shows, Devil's Horseback riders (not that farmers do this kind of thing every day of the week, you understand!) and even an all human festival circus (and they only do this kind of thin at Christmas and on Birthdays). There's something for everyone.
