Campsites near the Royal Norfolk Show

The Royal Norfolk Show (www.royalnorfolkshow.co.uk) is the largest two day agricultural show in the country; show jumping is a speciality of the show, with well over 1500 horses competing each year. With Norfolk still being as rural county as any in the UK, this show is a true celebratoin of the county's agricultural industries and livestock.

Classes for all manner of animals are hotly contested throughout the two days, with much-sought-after prizes being awarded by top class judges. Heavy Horses - Shire, Percheron and Suffolk - are a great favourite and the British Simmental National Show for the Simmental cattle breed is held here and nowhere else nationally.

So much exciting activity - you'll need refreshments...With bars and Food Courts located around the show site, selling local produce and locally produced nosh, don't worry you'll be able to eat your way around the ground. There's even a restaurant on site, run by the City College Hotel school with a full range of menus available from morning coffee 'til post-four-course-dinner coffee at 10pm!
