This our first year of towing a caravan and we have enjoyed every moment, but one thing I do not understand is why people spend a lot of money on awnings and never use them apart from storing tables and chairs. During the day the happy campers are either off site or sitting outside, as soon as the sun gets low they are off inside the caravan to watch TV. We have an awning and enjoy eating most of our meals in it, yes we do sit outside in the lovely sun we have had but in the evening we go back inside the awning to have a glass or two and chat to each other and look out over the campsite. I bet I could count on one hand other campers doing the same.
