Even better if....
Unfortunately we arrived in a force 9 gale/pouring rain in March 2013. Therefore we did not have the opportunity to level up well. It was difficult anyway as the pitch was badly sloping sideways. The guy next door had chocked one wheel up with wood blocks, something he regretted during the gales! Hard-standing consisted of small, sharp rocks instead of the usual gravel, which was very difficult to walk on. Recovering from a hip replacement, I was terrified of falling onto the sharp stones. Don't think dogs would appreciate it either! Considering it was such a lovely camp site , well designed and run, it seemed a shame that the owners had stinted on making the touring pitches level and user friendly.
