Keswick Campsites

Keswick is a great year-round venue for tourers and fabulous in summer for campers; with its spectacular position between the massive bulk of Skiddaw and the tranquil beauty of Derwentwater, Keswick is a picture in summer and magical in winter with snow-covered hills sparkling over this market town. These Keswick campsites provide great access to the shops, restaurants and pubs of Keswick, so you can refuel after walking the fells.

It's easy to become seduced by the rhythms of this vibrant town; these campsites in Keswick offer ideal bases from which to explore the celebrated markets held in the town each week, the general market every Saturday and the Farmer's market on Thursday. The Museum and Art gallery which was built in the Victorian Era is a stunning venue, celebrating both local history and the popularity of the town and local area, held in such esteem by the Romantic poets. If you want to get an alternative perspective on the town, why not take a boat trip out on Derwentwater and look back at the pretty streets from this beautiful lake?

Keswick Camping has become a rather outdoorsy affair too, in recent years, with the town becoming the 'active' capital of the Lakes, with shops selling equipment and agencies running tours, trips and courses in all things outdoors.
