Camping near Bath and West Show

Celebrating well over 150 years of history, the Bath and West Show is one of Somerset's great family days out. With motocross stunt shows and internationally reknowned horse masters and stunt-riders performing in the main ring, the wow-factor is definitely on offer. However the Royal Bath and West Show is also a celebration of all that is wonderful about Somerset's agriculture and countryside, managing to balance high-octane with tradition.

Animals? Yep - there will be plenty of them to see, hear, smell and touch. With livestock still lying at the heart of the Bath and West show, horse lovers, pig lovers, poultry lovers, even rabbit and guinea pig lovers, won't be disappointed.

Foodies will relish the opportunity to view (and sample!) entries for the British Cheese Awards. This show holds the biggest cider competition in the country, giving you the opportunity to wash down the cheese with samples of the many fantastic locally produced ciders this region has to offer. Gardeners will love the specialist garden area which features competitions, talks by experts and demonstrations of all things green-fingered. And, demonstrating that this show really does still have its roots firmly in the grass, there is a small producers marquee, showcasing the very best products of this fabulous region's small producers.
