One of the best ways of seeing the wildlife on Blakeney Point, a 4 mile stretch of sand and shingle jutting out into the water, is by boat trip as the Western end of the point has restricted access for much of the year to protect ground nesting birds and the seal pups raised here. Or there are a number of great walks at low tide along the firm sands; experts will tell you to check every bush for sitings of either local or visiting feathered friends.
