Swansea is billed as Wales' waterfront city, sitting on a sandy 5 miles stretch of beach at Swansea Bay. As such it has everything that you'd expect from a vibrant 'genuine' community, with hundreds of shops, a fabulous indoor market (the largest in Wales) selling locally produced foods and drinks and plenty of attractions to keep everyone interested: The National Waterfront Museum, the Dylan Thomas Centre and the Swansea Museum to name a few. These campsites in Swansea provide great access to this lively city and the surrounding area.
