2015 is the tenth year of the Sand Sculpture Festival in Somerset's Western-Super-Mare and each year it goes from strength to strength, growing in both popularity and notoriety. Each year world-class sand sculptors from the far-flung corners of the planet come together to create a breath-taking exhibition of skills, creativity and wonder... all from the medium of sand! These campsites and holiday parks are all ideal bases from which to visit the Weston Super Mare Sand Sculptures, a fabulous centrepiece activity for your camping holiday on Somerset's sunshine coast.

Each year the Sand Sculpture Festival based at Marine Parade in the heart of Weston takes a different theme with often breath-taking results...collosal, intricate sculptures rise from the sands in detail that beggars belief. Over the years the festival has become more inclusive and interactive...you won't just turn up and see the finished effect; the sand sculpture artists are frequently on site during the months-long summer festival, creating new sculptures as they go. Fancy having a go at sand sculpture yourself? Why not! This Weston Super Mare festival is open daily through April towards the end of September.
