The B Festival is a relative new kid on the block when it comes to summer music festivals, being less than 10 years old at the time of writing, but it's great to get in at the start of a successful festival's history so that you can reminisce with authority! And there won't be many festivals set in as stunning a setting as the B Festival, either. This is no muddy field, no dis-used air-strip, no converted warehouse...No! If you are lucky enough to have got your hands on tickets for the B Festival, then you'll find yourself partying at one of the UK's most breath-taking coastal locations, at Bamburg Castle in Northumberland, looking out across the vast golden sands and out to where the sunset touches the water. The B Festival, sponsored by Stay Northumbria in aid of Hospice Care, is set in the grounds of Bamburg Castle, one of the most spectacular and historic sites that you're ever likely to find yourself carousing in. So, we've listed here the UK camping closeby the B Festival, surrounding Bamburg, so that you can find your ideal pitch to which you can sophisticatedly (or not) retire after the fun finally winds up at midnight. If you are a music-snob that the chances are the B Festival is unlikely to be for you. If, however, you like a rousing and exhilarating mixture of musical talent embracing classical, opera, jazz and pop and want to have a great time with friends in a stunning setting, this festival is made for you! Feedback from previous years shows that this festival feels in fact more like being at an exclusive (albeit rather large!) party with an electric atmosphere. Available in the festival grounds is a licensed bar (well, phew!) with all manner of food stalls serving pizza, tandoori, hog roast and fish and chips. But the organisers are happy for you to bring your own picnics, fizz, blankets for when it gets chillier later on, even tables and chairs if you like. And, this being a charity event, you can relax knowing that whilst you are having a great time, you are also contributing to raising money for some very well-deserving causes. Click here for more info about the B Festival Line up, dates and opening times: The B Festival .Camping Sites in Northumberland Here you will find the camping sites in Northumberland within 5 miles of Bamburg Castle and the B Festival ground.
