Canyoning Wales - Maentwrog Gorge, Snowdonia

Outdoor activities North Wales are now big business and the canyoning Wales has to offer has been receiving a great deal of attention recently from those looking for thrill, excitement and challenge. Explore chutes and gullies, caverns and drops, all cut out of the bedrock by thousands of years of water coursing through. Swim in fresh water pools, under magnificent waterfalls and leap into plunge pools of incredibly clear mountain water.

The Maentwrog Gorge in North wales is a great canyoning encounter for the more experienced adrenaline seeker. If you are seeking out a stint of 4 or more hours of fun and exhilaration in some of the most breath-takingly beautiful scenery you're ever likely to explore, then this could well be the location for you and your group.
